ChessImager 2.0 – Dynamic chessboard image generation

I’ve made significant enhancements to my dynamic chessboard image generator. I’ve given it a name (ChessImager) and a new location. (I’ve left the old script, diagram.php, alone so that other people’s blog postings won’t have broken links.)

Enhancements include:

  • Configurable board size
  • Choice of piece styles
  • Configurable square colors
  • Configurable border
  • Optional display of square coordinates

You can find detailed information and instructions here for linking to the ChessImager script from your own web site.

And by the way, thanks to Globular, Qxh7#, and Navan for their specific comments on version 1 of the script.

If it is ok, I’m asking for permission to use the software. I’m gonna link to the image generator in my site.

    thanks
