Ending 2006 with a tournament victory and a Class B rating

Last night I drew in the final round of the MetroWest Chess Club Holiday Swiss, which was good enough for clear 1st place in the Under 1850 section. The tournament just got rated this morning, and my new unofficial USCF rating is 1657. That’s an increase of more than 250 points in 2006!
